前回のWashington Openで白緑のZenith - Natural Orderを使い１１位でした。今回はHigh Tideで優勝。

２位のEli Kassisの使用デッキはMother of RunesやQasali Pridemageが入ったJunk。ElspethやDeedやVindicateは入ってない。前回のWashingtonではZenith入りのJunk and Taxesで６位でした。

１位はチームアメリカ。日本のデッキとは構成が違う。
Stifleが４枚入っていたり、DeedではなくてExplosivesだったり、ニューホライズンに近い。
重くて色が濃いDeedやJaceを採用しておらず、追加のドロー操作としてPredictやSylvan Libraryも投入しているため、日本型と違ってマナ・トラブルは少なそう。
日本型よりもこういった構成の方が好きだけど、ThoughtseizeやVendilionは入れたい。

Zenith使うなら、不毛３～４枚とCanopy数枚を含む土地２４＋教主４は正しいと思う。でも、Natural Orderが無いならDryad ArborよりもHorizon Canopyの方が強いと思ってる。
ZenithをDryad Arborとトレードするのはもったいないと思うんだけど。特にこのデッキは１マナクリーチャーが１２枚入ってるので、１マナでZenithをキャストすることって無さそうな。

１０位にZenith Zoo。前回のSCGレガシーオープン、Indianapolisでも同じデッキで１０位。メインの構成はStP４枚がPtE４枚に代わっただけ。高火力のElspethが入ってるんだから、当然の変更だと思う。
土地が２２枚しかないから、もう１枚増やした方が良さそうな。

除去が減ったことで柔軟性は失うけど、２色なのでマナベースはこっちの方が堅固。
Tarmogoyf×８、Knight of the Reliquary×８、Terravore×５、Progenitus×４とか豪腕過ぎる。Zoo型より好き。

１５位はMUD。Team Meandeck MUDの構成から、２枚あった戦闘球の１枚がBlightsteelに代わっただけ。
土地１６枚は大丈夫なのか？クイックインタビューでも土地の少なさが問題視されていた。

饗宴と飢餓の剣が強い。
プロ緑＋土地アンタップって、まさに求めていた能力。

Zooと言うデッキの強みは、常に相手より大きいクリーチャーをコントロールしていることにある。

１ターン目のWild Nacatl、２ターン目のQasali Pridemage、ボブや教主を焼いた後のTarmogoyf、フェッチを２・３回起動した後のKnight of the Reliquary。これらは、大抵の場合相手のクリーチャーよりもサイズが大きく、ノーリスクで攻撃を行い相手のライフを削ることが出来る。
時としてTarmogoyfやKnight of the Reliquaryでの攻撃を繰り返しているだけでゲームに勝利することさえある。

自分のクリーチャーよりも大きいクリーチャーが立ちはだかり、排除できなくなった場合、相手のライフを直接削るゲームになる。
デッキ内にGrim Lavamancerを含む直接火力が相当数あるために、毎ターンクリーチャーを失いながらのゴリ押しが有効な攻撃手段となる。
重要なのはリソースを保持し続けることではなく、ゲームが自分のものではなくなりつつあるが未だ相手のものにならない間に勝利することだ。

Elspehtは直接火力であり、リソース供給源ではない。コストは４マナと重いが、１枚のカードで破格のダメージをもたらしてくれる。
Sylvan Libraryは、ゴリ押しを継続するためのアタッカーと一緒に直接火力をもたらしてくれる非常に優秀なリソース供給エンジンだ。


さて、ZooというデッキにGreen Sun’s Zenithというカードは入るのだろうか。
答えは「Yes」だ。

このカードのおかげで、Zooのゲームプランである「一方的に攻撃できるクリーチャーで攻撃を繰り返す」ためのアタッカー供給源が増える。

３マナのTarmogoyfが存在するならば、２マナのTarmogoyfに加えて合計８枚のTarmogoyfをデッキに投入する。

それでは、Zooと言うデッキにおいて１ターン目にZenithでDryad Arborをフェッチする行動に価値はあるのか。
答えは「No」だ。

マナを出せるだけの1/1クリーチャーに出番はなく、１ターン早くKnightをプレイするとしても、除去されるのも１ターン早くなるだけだろう。
１ターン待てばWild Nacatlになり、もう１ターン待てばTarmogoyfになるカードを、わざわざDryad Arborに代える理由はNatural Order以外に探すことは困難だろう。

それでは、Zooと言うデッキにおいてZenithでサーチできるユーティリティクリーチャーを１枚差しする価値はあるのか。
この問いに対する答えも「No」だ。

Zooと言うデッキには、多数の除去スペルと可能な限り素早く相手のライフをゼロにするための優秀なクリーチャーが揃っている。
デッキに、相当強い一貫性と、コンボ以外のデッキに対して十分な柔軟性を備えていると言える。
そのメインデッキに、一部のデッキ・一部のカードに対して効果的な、そして既に有している一貫性と柔軟性を損なうようなカードを入れることが、総合的な勝率を上げるとは思えない。
そうまでして特定のデッキに対して武器を持ちたいなら、そのデッキに対して強い別のデッキを使うべきだろう。



何が言いたいかと言うと、「Zenithを入れたZooで大会に出るぜ」ってことです。

勤務日・時間の関係で、水曜日以外は詰んでる
立川が公認なら絶対に行くんだけど…

狙っているデッキはテンポ系。
特に、除去がStP４枚だけでクリーチャーが教主４、タルモ４、聖遺４、ヴェンディリオン３みたいなデッキ。

基本的な動きとしては、思考囲い４とコジレックの審問２で合計６枚の１マナ手札破壊を使い、相手の手札を確認して勝ち易いところを攻めるようなゲームプランを立てる。

相手のクロックが機能しづらく、Hymn・腹心・石鍛冶・門番・装備品とアドバンテージを取れるカードが多いため、事故らなければ勝てる。

参加者３２人で４－１の３位。

使ったデッキは白タッチのThe Gate。
Gatekeeperを４枚入れたりInnocent Bloodを入れたりしてるので、DeadguyよりもThe Gateに近いと思う。

石鍛冶デックウィンでした。
手札破壊や根絶で、キャストするタイミングや抜くカードがちょっと怪しい感じがあったけど、大抵は２種のSwordが強くて勝ってました。

Gatekeeper４なのにStPと石鍛冶が４ずつなのは少し欲張りすぎかも。
フェッチで沼を持ってきて沼沼沼と並べていいゲームは楽だった一方で、早々にScrublandが必要でWastelandされたゲームはやはり厳しかったり負けたりしたので、石鍛冶とStPの枚数は調整が必要かも。
まあ、前夜に作って脳内でしか回してないデッキなので。

脳内だと、白黒テンポ（薬瓶とかセラの報復者とかが入ってるタイプ）に戦隊の鷹は良い。マナを踏み倒すカードさえあれば、鷹のスペックはレガシーでも結構おかしいと思う。

参加予定のため、今から練習。

黒ゼニスをプレイされても噴かないように。

それが終わったらデッキ作る。

Sensei’s Devining TopとVoltaic Keyのシナジーとか、考えて試した人は凄いな。
